This is a full-service double bass restoration and bow re-hair & repair shop.
Bass Restoration
All restorations are executed only after a thorough examination of the bass and discussion with the owner. Where regluing applies, All old glue surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and dried. Only fresh hide glue is used. All new components are fit to the closest tolerances, using a straight edge and light or by chalk fitting.
The following is a list of some jobs most common to restoration:
- Neck reset
- Edging / doubling
- Corner replacement
- Sound post patch (inlaid)
- Bass bar shaping or replacement

- The repair and or replacement of perfeling
- Retouching of varnish
